gla:D program
GLA:D, Good Life with osteoarthritis: Denmark, is an education and exercise program developed by researchers in Denmark for people with hip or knee osteoarthritis symptoms.
The program consists of an initial assessment, educational sessions and exercise programs.
gym Rehabilitation
Gym Rehabilitation is an effective way to prevent injury, promote tissue healing and improve performance. Whether you’re hoping to recover from an injury, or to improve sport specific performance, a tailored Gym Program can be beneficial to boost your body’s capacity, allow you to move with less pain and less difficulty, and become stronger.
PILATES
Pilates is a form of intelligent exercise based on biomechanical body awareness and mindfulness. Focusing on the breath, and optimising muscle activation for movement, regular Pilates practice brings focus to the mind, and strength, endurance and stability to the body.
VESTIBULAR PHYSIOTHERAPY
The vestibular system is a complex series of connections that is responsible for some aspects of balance, visual control and movement. The vestibular system is comprised of the central nervous system (brain), inner ear, neck and eyes. These systems work together to allow for smooth control of balance, vision and movement.
SPORTS
physiotherapy
We provide treatment techniques and rehabilitation options with the focus being returning to sports or exercise with reduced risks of re-injury. Our Enhance Physiotherapists and clinician staff do this by using an evidence based approach from new and growing sports research.
CHRONIC PAIN
Chronic Pain is persistent pain that lasts longer than 12 weeks. Most people may be new to the notion of chronic pain because we have the common belief that pain goes away when tissues heal after an injury or illness, usually less than 12 weeks. However, this is not the case for 1 in 5 Australians and pain may not lessen even when the healing process is complete.
