After graduating from Curtin University in 2015 with her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, Annique initially commenced her physiotherapy career in the acute hospital sector prior to becoming the sole practitioner in an Aged Care Facility. Here, she gained experience treating the physical and functional management of older adults before moving on to work in the fast-paced environment of the Peel Health Campus in Mandurah. Annique has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in a range of fields, including cardiorespiratory management and post-operative management of total knee replacements, total hip arthroplasties, and other orthopaedic surgeries.

Annique later went on to commence her private practice career at Enhance Physiotherapy, bringing with her a keen interest in neck and lower back pain, musculoskeletal and sports related injuries, as well as vertigo (specifically BPPV) and upper cervical spine dysfunction.

Well-rounded in her experience, Annique uses a wide array of hands on manual treatment and functional techniques, along with post-graduate qualifications and training in dry needling, real time ultrasound, and shockwave therapy in her daily treatment practices.

When Annique is away from treating, she thoroughly enjoys playing her sports, staying active, and spending time with her friends, family and two beautiful dogs. Her passion for sports has led her to play high level soccer for over 20 years; representing at a national level, and now sees her playing for the East Fremantle Women’s Football Club in the Women’s WAAFL. Also a keen runner, Annique has previously completed both the Perth Marathon in 2016 as well as the Perth Running Festival Half Marathon in 2019.
