With a diverse background in biomedical science, Barbara’s passion has always aligned with helping people improve their health and wellbeing. Barbara completed her Masters of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Amsterdam in 2001 and her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Kings College London in 2004. She then went on to complete her Masters in Sport and Exercise Physiology at University of Portsmouth in 2007. This extensive experience has provided Barbara with the knowledge, skills and understanding to deliver exercise and lifestyle programs for those wanting to improve their physical health, as well as those with chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities.

Since moving to Perth from the UK, Barbara believes in providing pain relief through specific injury management programs. She enjoys supporting recovery post joint replacement and other orthopaedic surgeries as well as rehabilitating chronic disease conditions through behavioural changes and exercise programs.

With more than 20 years experience in long distance running Barbara has developed over the years a passion for competitive running. She has completed multiple marathons and IronMan events and she now looks at channelling that passion towards helping others achieve their goals and perform at their best. She is fascinated with how adaptable the human body (young or old) can be, and how positively it can respond to a well-structured training program.
